Thistle Hill Farm is nestled on the banks of the Rappahannock River in Fauquier County Virginia, beneath the Blue Ridge Mountains. On land that has been cherished and maintained through four generations, we have been raising purebred Devon cattle since 2001, with influences from Rotokawa, Lakota, and now England with embryos and semen from prizewinning bulls (Millennium Falcon and Cutcombe Jaunty) and prizewinning cows, most notably Cashtiller and Goldings Norah.
Our primary vision is to provide the cream of the crop for breeding stock: animals which are suitable for those looking to expand their lines of proven genetics or for those who are looking to start up their own herds with cattle that are calm and well proportioned for both meat production and calving.
We present the best of traditional English genetics alongside the best genetics from American and New Zealand.
