Dear ADCA and NADA Member —

We hope you are enjoying temperate weather and lush pastures. We have exciting news to share, and want to remind you to join us in beautiful western North Carolina, at both Lake Junaluska and Lenoir’s Creek Devon on September 26-28th, to celebrate the merger of our breed organizations.

We are pleased to announce that we have already combined the ADCA and NADA Board of Directors, and have approved the RED DEVON USA Bylaws for institution. At this point, we are merely waiting for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to formally approve the “RED DEVON USA” name, which we expect to be accomplished within the next 6-8 weeks.

In short, our portion of merger work has been completed, and we would love to have you join us at this historic Devon Event! This promises to be an exciting weekend of learning and fellowship, as well as the springboard for exciting national and regional promotional strategies that we hope to finalize and institute immediately following The Event.

Also, we will be welcoming our two new Board Members – Paul Colucci and Fernando Mendez, to the pending RED DEVON USA Board. While we had several nominations for Board positions, Paul and Fernando were the only nominees that agreed to serve on the Board. Their acceptance fills the two open slots and renders our normal ballot/election process unnecessary.

For those of you needing late-date conference information, feel free to call 1-855-233-6232, or visit our websites at: (please bookmark this website for all future activity)

Again, the Conference will be held at Lake Junaluska Conference and Retreat Center. To make reservations call 1-800-222-4930 or visit their website at

Room rates for the conference are $90 for a single, $112 for a double. When you make your reservation tell them you are with the Devon Conference and will be staying at the Lambuth Inn.

There will also be a pre-conference training day on Thursday, September 26 held in the Conference Center at the Lambuth Inn.

We look forward to seeing you in North Carolina as we enjoy celebration, education, fellowship, and productive discussion toward the most ambitious promotional effort in the history of American Devon Cattle.
