Final Stop, Brookview Farm

Jacob15BrookB6Jacob15BrookB165Leaving Tennessee, Jeremy headed north to the Lexington, Ky area to visit Brookview Farm at Winchester.  Brookview is owned by Jacob Owens and family and last fall hosted the RDUSA Fall Conference and Sale.  Jacob lead Jeremy on a tour of his Red Devon herd and they found many outstanding prospects for the RDUSA Fall Show and Sale.  Jacob is steadily building one of the top Red Devon herds in America and Jeremy found several head that he was interested in purchasing, but Jacob was not interested in letting any animals   leave his farm at that time.  Jeremy left some Red Devons at Brookview that came from some of his previous stops that were headed to new homes farther north and with the remainder of his load headed back to Virginia.  He was disappointed he could not make any more purchases, but very optimistic about the quality of cattle for the Fall Show and Sale at Anderson, SC.
