Junior Heifer Calf Class

Pictured in the first photo is Vic Edwards, co-judge with Alison Heap; Jacob Owens, owner of Brookview Farm; Roy Doan, RDUSA President.

Brookview Farm of Winchester, KY exhibited the first place heifer with Brookview’s B4, sired by Lakota R104.  2nd place went to Oak Hill Farm of Palmyra, VA with Oak Hill BYT6 and Oak Hill also exhibited the 3rd place heifer with Oak Hill BU39.  Oak Hill is owned by Cathy Cochran with Liz Addison a partner in the cattle enterprise.  Vic and Alison were so impressed with this class that they also gave honorable mention to another Brookview heifer, sired by Brookview X64 and 2 more Oak Hill heifers.  All of the Oak Hill heifers were sired by Lakota Tirranna W120.

Senior Heifer Class

In the second photo is Vic Edwards, Martha and Charlie Trantham and Roy Doan.

Lenoir’s Creek Devons owned by Charlie and Martha Trantham and located at Canton, NC showed the 1st place senior heifer with Lenior’s Creek B304, sired by Lenior’s Creek Rodeo.  Paul Fowler of Texas showed the 2nd and 3rd place heifers with PF Cherokee 54B and PF Sacajawea 52B respectively.  These heifers are flush mates sired by Rotokawa 93.

Junior Cow Class

In the third photo is Vic, Martha and Charlie Trantham, and Roy

1st place in the Junior Cow class went to Lenoir’s Creek Devons owned by Charlie and Martha Trantham.  The cow is Lenoir’s Creek A91 and is sired by Harrier Fields Glory’s Abraham.  The Dozen Devon owned by Scott Paquin of Anderson, SC showed the 2nd place cow with The Dozen Devon A310 sired by CRT Lenoir Sunset.  The 3rd place cow was FFF Emma Sue sired by CRT Lenoir’s Red Lad and was shown by Fisher Family Farm owned by Joe Vosburgh of Alexandria, IN.

Pictured in the fourth photo is Vic, Liz Addison and Roy.

Oak Hill Farm won first in the Senior Cow class with Oak Hill YT6 sired by Stonebridge S23 Nanook.  Second went to Fisher Family Farm with Kanga Eve sired by Tillbrook Sunset and third went to CRT Lenoir’s Creek T256 owned by Lenoir’s Creek Devons and sired by Lakotas Guardsman F142.

Cow/Calf Class

Pictured in the fifth photo is Vic, Paul Colucci and Roy.

1st, 2nd and 3rd places all went to Paul Colucci’s Full Moon Farm located at Gardiner, NY.  1st place was Lakota R84 sired by Albion 16N.  2nd place was FMF Bayou Girl sired by Lakota’s Buckeye P60 and 3rd place was FMF Sally W144 sired by Noyl Boy.

The Champions

Pictured in the sixth photo is Brian Curless, Sale Auctioneer; Roy Doan, RDUSA President; Paul Colucci, owner of the Reserve Champion Female; Jacob Owens, owner of the Grand Champion Female; Vic Edwards, co-judge of the show; and Jeremy Engh, Show and Sale Manager.

The Grand Champion Female selected by Vic Edwards and Alison Heap was Brookview B4.  She was the winner of the Junior Calf class and is owned by Brookview Farm located at Winchester, KY.  Brookview is owned by Jacob Owens.

The Reserve Grand Champion was Lakota R84, the winner of the Cow/Calf  class.  She is owned by Full Moon Farm which is owned by Paul Colucci.
